Update: Two Men Charged in Relation to Firearm Recovery

Two men who were arrested on Sunday 21 April on possession of an unlicensed firearm in West Bay have now been formally charged by the police and have attended court on Wednesday 24 April, 2025.

The 24-year-old man of West Bay was formally charged with Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm and Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm (Ammunition), while the 30-year-old man was charged with Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm, Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm (Ammunition) and Dangerous Driving (Manner).

The men have been remanded in custody to re-appear on 8 May, 2024.
