The RCIPS have been investigating the whereabouts of 32-year-old Christopher Perry Bush of Bodden Town who is wanted by the police. Mr. Bush, who is a client of the Electronic Monitoring System, destroyed and removed his monitoring device, while on police bail for a firearm-related incident. He is to be treated as violent and dangerous, and should not be approached. Police are asking the public to call 9-1-1 immediately if he is seen.
Additionally, Mr. Bush is encouraged to turn himself in to the Cayman Islands Detention Centre, or the nearest active police station, at any time, day or night.
The public is again being reminded that according to the Police Law (2021 Revision), to obstruct, mislead or act in such a way as to prevent the apprehension of a person who has committed a crime, is an offence. If prosecuted for such an offence, you may be liable on conviction to a fine of $5000 or imprisonment for two years or both.
